The show
"Íntima Triana" is more than a show: it's direct communion between artist and audience. In a tiny 28-seat theatre built into two former fruit stalls of Triana Market, three artists — guitarist, singer and dancer — merge into a single feeling.
No script, no fixed choreography: each performer brings their own personality to create something that will never happen the same way twice. This is flamenco at its purest, in the very heart of its Sevillian birthplace. Few places allow you this close: you can feel every breath and every chord.
The artists
A stable roster of artists rotates by availability. Lead dancer: Asunción Pérez "Choni", winner of Giraldillo awards at the Bienal de Flamenco and Lorca Awards. When Choni performs, the show includes a spoken tribute to the historic "cafés cantantes", in Spanish and English.
